Michelle

Michelle was turned on to art by the Jon Gnagy charcoal set her father gave her. She can still remember the thrill of watching the three dimensions come to life while sketching a pumpkin from the instruction booklet. In college Michelle switched her major from art to sociology, but never lost her passion for creating.
Comfortable working in almost any medium, Michelle worked with a local Marvel Comic Book inker in the 1990s. She is currently teaching art and social studies at a substance abuse treatment center for women, which she says adds a deeper dimension to her art adventure.
