"The creative process, for me, is one of discovery. I've never been inspired by a vision of the finished product--only by the sheer joy of creation. The end result is always one I never could have imagined."
Brief Bio:
Nick Roes is an artist and author of 12 published books and hundreds of articles on a wide range of topics. He's also appeared on many television and radio programs, including "Good Morning, America" and "Donahue".
Nick lives and works in Barryville, NY, where he is a member of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance and the Barryville Area Arts Association.

"6x6x2010": The third annual exhibition of small works at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center includes Nick's work, and runs from June 5 through July 11, 2010. For all the details visit http://www.rochestercontemporary.org/6x6x2010.html.
Liberty Art Walk: In cooperation with the Liberty Community Development Corporation, prints of Nick's work are on display at 71 North Main Street, Liberty, NY. That address is home to the Sunflower Health Food Store and they are offering selected print for sale. Chant Gallery Exhibit: From August 8 to September 7, 2009, Nick's work was on display at the Chant Offices in Milford, PA. He was paired in this exhibit with artist Grace Hatton. Curated by Laura Santelli.
Upfront Gallery: Nick's work was featured in Upfront's August/September 2009 Exhibit, curated by Steven and Barbara Riddle.
ART IN THE PARK: Nick's work was included in a display of local artists and craftsmen on August 8, 2009, in the Park at the corners of Routes 97 and 55 in Barryville, NY.
Upfront Gallery: Nick's work was featured in Upfront's new season from April 1 - July 31, 2009. Curated by Debbie Raia.
Wayne County Art Exhibit: From May 4 - May 8, 2009, Nick's work was on display at the Wayne County Court House in Honesdale, PA. The exhibit was sponsored by Wayne County Human Services and Wayne County Aging Office, and curated by Carleen Faatz.
Connections Gallery Grand Opening: Nick was a featured artist at the opening of CONNECTIONS Magazine Artscene Gallery. The exhibit ran from October 7, 2008 through January 15, 2009 and was curated by Lucille Norella.
"Favorite Prints": November 16, 2008 featuring prints of Nick's recent work at the Riviera Towers, West New York, NJ. Curated by Elisette Maresca.
